Condesa Coffee is an Atlanta-based independent coffee shop that prides itself on not only serving great coffee, but also on playing an active role in enriching the Atlanta community.

Since beginning to offer their coffee shop as a venue, Condesa Coffee has hosted a wide range of events from birthday parties to pop-up shops. They see this new addition to their business operations as a great way to serve and engage with the surrounding community.

Condesa Coffee is owned by a husband and wife duo—Octavian & Daniela. We sat down with Daniela to ask her some questions:

  • Why did you start offering your space for events?

“We wanted to expand our scope and reach in our community. We have a beautiful space that was underused in the evenings, and we wanted to welcome people and show our hospitality in a different way.”

  • What do you appreciate most about using VenuesAPI?

“We love the fact that we don't have to worry about all the details and that they have expanded our customer outreach, which has directly increased our number of bookings”

  • What has been one of your favorite events hosted at Condesa?

“Our first private parties at Condesa were a series called "Fancy Party," hosted by a group of Georgia Tech students. They were a great success, and grew from 20-30 people to about 80. We hosted nine editions of it, and we are hoping for a tenth!”

Comments from Tom - CEO & Co-founder of VenuesAPI:

“Condesa Coffee started working with us in the early days. It has been exciting to see how we have been able to deliver value and help them grow month over month. Condesa Coffee has a fantastic space and it has been awesome for our team to be able to offer their shop to renters in the Atlanta area. VenuesAPI was started for this exact reason — to help businesses make more money, while providing additional value to the communities they inhabit. We’re excited to see how Condesa’s event business continues to grow!”
